Students´ right to gainful employment

According to section 80, subsection 1, subparagraph 1, of the Aliens Act, an alien has the right to gainful employment if he or she has been issued with a residence permit for studying if the employment is a traineeship required for a qualification, if the amount of part-time work does not exceed 20 hours a week or if full-time work is carried out at a time when there are no actual classes at the educational institution.
