Network service exemption from liability

The Ministry of Labour’s network service aims to improve the public’s opportunities to obtain information on working life regulations, such as labour legislation, minimum employment provisions, various employer liabilities, employees’ rights, activities of different authorities and services provided by them.

The Ministry of Labour is not liable for direct or indirect damage and other consequences caused by the application, interpretation or misunderstanding of the network service contents, because these data and instructions 

  • are general and do not refer to any individual cases
  • require that, with respect to salaries and other issues, minimum employment provisions must be defined separately in each individual case
  • are not comprehensive, complete, precise or perfectly up to date
  • do not contain binding requirements, recommendations or solutions
  • contain links to external websites whose content cannot be accounted for
