Working in Finland

Employment and Economic Development Offices provide jobseekers and employers with a wide range of services. The Employment and Economic Development Offices have about 200 outlets around Finland.

Employment and Economic Development Offices offer information about vacancies, job seeking processes, education, different occupations as well as entrepreneurship. For employers the employment office offers for example recruiting and training services.

The purpose of the EURES (the European Employment Services) is to promote mobility on the European labour markets by providing advice to job seekers who want to work abroad and to employers who want to recruit workers from abroad. In Finland EURES services are provided by public employment services.
